Personally I will miss her. I found her to be a very refreshing change from the politicians I was seeing, especially on the so-called conservative front. How the Republican Party ever came up with support for John McCain is a total mystery, but they lost my support when they did. Sarah gave me hope that they were making a U-turn and were heading back to the conservative roots from whence they came. In the end, I voted the McCain – Palin ticket, not for John McCain, but for Sarah Palin who I felt had more executive experience (and still do) than BO – The President did. Of course those were the days when he was merely BO.
It will be some time, if ever, before we know why Sarah decided to vacate her office as Governor before the term was complete, but I am sure she has given it much thought. She seems to be the focus of all of the media, speculating on why she is quitting and I am quite confident that Sarah was very aware that was going to happen before she announced her resignation. Unfortunately, I, like others, feel this will be the end of any Presidential aspirations she may have had, simply because quitting her term before it is complete is not what most people want in a President.
So good luck Sarah, and fare thee well where’er you fare.
But that’s just My Arrogant Opinion.
