Obama Motors

How did we come to this? Our nation was built upon the foundation of freedom for the individual. We came here because we didn’t want the government (read: King) telling us where to worship, or running our lives. We wanted the freedom to succeed, and yes, with that freedom comes the freedom to fail. Take a look around you and you will see that failure has been the exception rather than the rule. And failure is only a bad thing when one accepts that failure and quits. It is when we keep going through our failures that we truly succeed.

The liberals in this country, through a misdirected desire for everyone to succeed have all but guaranteed that this nation will fail. Our incentives have been destroyed by bailing out failing businesses. How can we use the example of someone’s failure to keep from making the same mistakes when those failures are being propped up by the government? Not only propped up by the government, but at our expense; using money we do not have! They are all about recycling, but how can you recycle something into something good if you don’t let it stop being something bad? A failed business should be allowed to fail in order to use those resources to grow something better, something that works in the current economic environment.

As a people, we need to stand up and shut down Obama Motors, shut it down hard, before it reinvents itself as Obama’s Health Care.
