I hope I will still have a job by the time Obama gets out of office….ooops too late for that one, I lost my job on The One’s 100th day in office. Currently I’m working as a temp, but the pay is nowhere near what I was making in the BO era. (Before Obama). So I guess you could say that my Hope turned into Change. He never said change would be good.
Hmmm, law of the land includes the ‘Defense of Marriage’, Obama says hmmm not so much, let’s try to get that pesky thing overturned. Now personally, I don’t mind if someone is gay, I don’t think it should be a consideration. My sexuality isn’t a consideration with my employer, I don’t throw it in their face that I am a flaming heterosexual, who hangs out in straight bars on weekends. It just really isn’t their business nor concern, why should there be a special class for a situation that isn’t anyone’s business?
To me, it seems as though Obama’s Hope and Change is disintegrating before our very eyes.
